Lana Lawrence
Lana Lawrence began her career in real estate over 15 years ago when she became a Sales Manager for a new home builder in Houston, TX. From designing the perfect floorpan on her clients' ideal homesite to managing the entire build process, she was named for many quarterly and annual awards for her continued commitment and success. She built lasting relationships with her clients, coworkers, area Real Estate Agents, and their friends and family, which afforded her the opportunity to be a trusted advisor to multiple product lines. In 2010, she became a licensed Real Estate Agent, assisting clients through a diverse portfolio, including first-time buyers or sellers, move-up and luxury buyers or sellers, land acquisitions, restaurant lease space, warehouse lease space, and multiple types of investment properties all across the state of Texas.
Lana is also a licensed Property Tax Consultant. For the past 6 years, she has extended her expertise in residential and commercial real estate analysis for the purpose of property tax corrections. From the initial hearing to possible binding arbitration/litigation, an aggressive strategy is utilized to determine and present the best evidence to support the highest possible reduction in her clients' property taxes. Portfolio includes Multifamily, Shopping Centers, Industrial, Vacant Land, and Residential properties, utilizing a Sales Comparison, Income Capitalization, and/or Cost Approach. With a huge emphasis on the communication aspect of specific data, she provides her clients with a high success rate at every turn of the negotiation process.
To further her education and credentials, she’s going through the proper training to obtain her Civil Mediation and Property Tax Arbitration certifications. This will allow her an even deeper understanding of contract negotiations and resolutions. She really is committed to understanding and assisting all aspects of real estate.
In her spare time, Lana enjoys working out, cooking, and of course, everything sunshine and water! With two older children and a few grandkids, exploring hidden water spots and hiking trails all over the Austin area is their outlet. She has family all over Texas and enjoys taking hill country road trips or quick weekend getaways.
