Dacia Mackey
Dacia is a native Texan who has resided in the Central Texas area most of her life. She played collegiate golf and was the head women’s golf coach at Texas State University for over five years. While at Texas State, she earned her master’s degree in sport management and athletic administration. Dacia left coaching to pursue her LPGA professional credentials and apprenticed under David Price in Dallas for several years. Her desire to coach led her back to Austin, leading the golf program at Westwood High and assisted with their girls’ varsity soccer program.
In 2019, Dacia pursued her real estate career full-time. Although she still teaches golf, her primary focus is helping clients achieve their dreams of homeownership or finding their perfect land. Dacia’s passion is farming and ranching, helping clients find and purchase their own piece of Texas.
When she is not working, you can find Dacia enjoying the beach or the mountains with her family. She loves to cook, garden, and search out the next great microbrewery or winery.
